The sources of this activity are pancreatin, ox bile salts and primary cultured enzymes. VM 61 is beneficial for those suffering from gastric upset or impaired digestion, due to decreased enzymatic activity in the stomach or intestines. Each capsule is enteric coated to protect the enzymes from the stomach's high pH levels, in order to allow for full bioavailability in the digestive tract.

Each capsule contains three digestive health formulas. These include the Normagest® formula, standardized pancreatin and the Digestive Enhance formula.

The Normagest® formula contains a variety of natural digestive enzymes that can reduce stomach pain, constipation, bloating, inflammation and support digestive health. Each enzyme is responsible for a different nutrient. This includes the digestion of starch, protein, fats, and vegetable cellulose foods. These enzymes are able to break down these foods into small peptides and amino acids, giving them the ability to improve digestion and nutrient absorption.
